The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Kennebunk Rams (Kennebunk, ME) and the host Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME), observed Kennebunk's basketball team overcome Sanford by a score of 64-53.

The Rams (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Navigators come into the A South challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Falmouth defeated Gorham (Gorham, ME), 69-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a AA South challenge, on Monday, January 20. Sanford will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 63-40 non-league loss to Biddeford (Biddeford, ME).
