Mississippi High School Basketball - Murrah bests Yazoo City

The Murrah Mustangs basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Yazoo City Indians to 50 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Mustangs now possess a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Tupelo for a 7A Region 2 game on Friday, January 24.
With the loss, Yazoo City falls to 13-10 on the campaign. The Indians host Gentry (Indianola, MS) to confront the Rams in a 5A Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Rams go into the game with a record of 4-15. Gentry lost 57-44 in their recent league game against Canton (Canton, MS)
