South Carolina High School Basketball - Philip Simmons routs Timberland

In Monday's league contest, the visiting Philip Simmons Iron Horses basketball team scored a big 52-28 triumph over the Timberland Wolves.

The Iron Horses (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Andrews (Andrews, SC). The Yellowjackets go into the AA Region 6 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Andrews was trounced by Timberland (St. Stephen, SC), 52-37, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wolves battle the Woodland Wolverines (Dorchester, SC) in a AA Region 6 contest, on Friday, January 24. Timberland will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 53-47 league win over Burke (Charleston, SC).
