The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Susitna Valley Rams (Talkeetna, AK) and the visiting Unalaska Raiders (Unalaska, AK), observed Susitna Valley's basketball team knock off Unalaska by a score of 49-38.
The Rams (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ninilchik (Ninilchik, AK). The Wolverines come into the 2A Southern challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Ninilchik prevailed over Lumen Christi (Anchorage, AK), 56-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Unalaska will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 45-33 non-league win over Nikiski (Nikiski, AK).
