The Durango Demons (Durango, CO) basketball were winner over the host Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO), 42-34 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Demons now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Montrose for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Durango will play a Red Hawks team coming off a 47-40 non-league loss to Delta (Delta, CO). The Red Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Montezuma-Cortez falls to 0-2 on the campaign.
