Maine High School Basketball - Stearns nips Katahdin

In Monday's league contest, the host Stearns Minutemen basketball team scored a close 38-33 triumph over the Katahdin Cougars.
The Minutemen (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, ME). The Lakers go into the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Greenville was tipped by Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME), 47-20, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) in a D North contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Katahdin will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Minutemen go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 47-36 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, ME).
