St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL), 45-27 in a league match.

With the victory, St. Joseph-Ogden advances its record to 8-11 on the year. The Spartans travel to Monticello (Monticello, IL) to face the Sages in a Illini Prairie match on Thursday, January 23. The Sages enter the match with a record of 12-8. Monticello won 48-26 in their recent league match against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL)

The Sabers now own a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoopeston for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28.
