Georgia High School Basketball - Terrell Academy overwhelms Tiftarea Academy

The Terrell Academy Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Tiftarea Academy Panthers to 22 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now possess a 16-0 record. They play next when they travel to Deerfield-Windsor for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 game on Friday, January 24. Terrell Academy will confront a Knights team coming off a 38-24 non-league loss to John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville, GA). The Knights record now stands at 8-10.
With the loss, Tiftarea Academy falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Panthers host Westfield School (Perry, GA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 8-7.
