The Blazers (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against River Ridge (Lacey, WA). The Hawks come into the 3A Puget Sound challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, River Ridge prevailed over Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA), 51-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tornados encounter the Bethel Bison (Spanaway, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Yelm will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 84-58 non-league loss to Union (Vancouver, WA).
