The Carson Senators basketball squad (Carson City, NV), was outscored 43-32 in Monday's league battle with the host Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV)

With the victory, Spanish Springs advances its record to 10-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Galena (Reno, NV) to meet the Grizzlies in a battle on Thursday, January 23. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a record of 13-4.

The Senators now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reno for a battle on Wednesday, January 22. Carson will play a Huskies team coming off a 26-17 league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 5-6.
