Texas High School Basketball - Jefferson overwhelms Fox Tech

The Jefferson Mustangs basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Fox Tech Buffaloes to 45 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 9-17 record. They play next when they travel to Lanier for a 5A Region IV District 27 game on Friday, January 23. Jefferson will clash with a Voks squad coming off a 64-36 league win over Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX). The Voks record now stands at 17-6.

The Buffaloes (9-16) will now prepare for their outing against Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Matadors come into the 5A Region IV District 27 outing with a 12-11 record. In their last outing, Seguin was overwhelmed by Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX), 78-66, in a league outing.
