The crowd at Tuesday's league contest between the Norfork Panthers (Norfork, AR) and the visiting Shirley Blue Devils (Shirley, AR), observed Norfork's basketball team overcome Shirley by a margin of 62-43.

The Panthers (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR). The Pirates come into the 1A Region 2 contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Calico Rock defeated West Side (Greers Ferry, AR), 58-43, in a league match.

The Blue Devils now own a 3-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nemo Vista for a non-league match on Thursday, January 22. Shirley will face a Red Hawks squad coming off a 83-59 league win over Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR). The Red Hawks record now stands at 15-12.
