In Friday's league match, the visiting Midland Chemics basketball team scored a tight 50-45 triumph over the Bay City Western Warriors.
In their next game, the Chemics meet the Saginaw Trojans (Saginaw, MI) in a Saginaw Valley match, on Tuesday, January 25. Midland will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 4-9 record after their 61-42 league loss to Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI).
With the defeat, Bay City Western moves to 3-7 on the year. The Warriors host Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI) to meet the Lumberjacks in a Saginaw Valley match on Tuesday, February 1. The Lumberjacks enter the match with a record of 5-2.
