The Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes (Eau Claire, WI) basketball felled the visiting River Falls Wildcats (River Falls, WI), 62-47 in Friday's league test.
The Old Abes (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Richfield (Richfield, MN). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Richfield was beaten by DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN), 102-80, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ellsworth for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 25. River Falls will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 71-45 league loss to Osceola (Osceola, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 3-9.
