Ohio High School Basketball - Lakeside can't hold off Hawken

The Hawken Hawks basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Lakeside Dragons to 51 in the Hawks non-league victory on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orange for a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin contest on Tuesday, January 25. Hawken will battle a Lions team coming off a 57-44 non-league loss to Geneva (Geneva, OH). The Lions record now stands at 7-7.
The Dragons (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Grand River Academy (Austinburg, OH). The come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Grand River Academy edged Hickory (Hermitage, PA), 61-38, in a non-league contest.
