Texas High School Basketball - Lamar ripped by South Grand Prairie

The South Grand Prairie Warriors basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Lamar Vikings to 45 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now have a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bowie for a 6A Region I District 8 game on Tuesday, January 25. South Grand Prairie will face a Volunteers team coming off a 53-44 league win over Arlington (Arlington, TX). The Volunteers record now stands at 12-8.
With the defeat, Lamar moves to 2-16 on the year. The Vikings host Bowie (Arlington, TX) to face the Volunteers in a 6A Region I District 8 game on Friday, January 28. The Volunteers enter the game with a record of 12-8.
