New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marsing Huskies (Marsing, ID), 50-30 in a league bout.

With the win, New Plymouth upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Pilgrims travel to Compass Honors (Meridian, ID) to play the Aviators in a 2A Western Idaho bout on Monday, January 24. The Aviators go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Compass Honors lost 64-16 in their recent league bout against Cole Valley Christian (Meridian, ID)

Next up, the Huskies play the Cole Valley Christian Chargers (Meridian, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho bout, on Thursday, January 27. Marsing will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 64-16 league win over Compass Honors (Meridian, ID).
