Sidney Yellowjackets (Sidney, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Stebbins Indians (Riverside, OH), 72-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Sidney upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Butler (Vandalia, OH) to play the Aviators in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Aviators go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Butler lost 54-46 in their recent non-league bout against West Carrollton (West Carrollton, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Tippecanoe Red Devils (Tipp City, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 22. Stebbins will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 78-77 league win over Piqua (Piqua, OH).
