The Amboy Clippers basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Forreston Cardinals to 15 in the Clippers league victory on Friday.

The Clippers now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fulton for a Northwest Upstate Illini - South contest on Tuesday, January 25. Amboy will battle a Steamers team coming off a 52-31 non-league loss to Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Steamers record now stands at 1-10.

The Cardinals (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against West Carroll (Savanna, IL). The Thunder come into the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, West Carroll was routed by Galena (Galena, IL), 50-28, in a league contest.
