The Santa Paula Cardinals basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Carpinteria Warriors to 22 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hueneme for a Citrus Coast contest on Saturday, January 22. Santa Paula will meet a Vikings team coming off a 44-35 league loss to Nordhoff (Ojai, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-10.

The Warriors (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hueneme (Oxnard, CA). The Vikings enter the Citrus Coast contest with a 5-11 record.
