    • Georgia High School Basketball - Cook overwhelmed by Thomasville

    The Thomasville Bulldogs basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Cook Hornets to 34 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

    The Bulldogs now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Early County for a AA Region 1 contest on Saturday, January 22. Thomasville will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 49-45 league win over Worth County (Sylvester, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-8.

    The Hornets (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Rebels come into the AA Region 1 contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Berrien was routed by Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA), 58-51, in a league contest.
