The Petersburg Buffaloes (Petersburg, TX) basketball knocked off the host Crosbyton Chiefs (Crosbyton, TX), 51-39 in Friday's league test.
The Buffaloes (13-11) will now prepare for their test against Wilson (Wilson, TX). The Mustangs go into the 1A Region I District 6 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Wilson went down by O'Donnell (O'Donnell, TX), 55-8, in a league test.
The Chiefs now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Southland for a 1A Region I District 6 test on Tuesday, January 25. Crosbyton will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lorenzo (Lorenzo, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
