Illinois High School Basketball - Crystal Lake South nips Dundee-Crown

Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL), 28-26 in a league bout.
With the win, Crystal Lake South upgrades its record to 4-16 on the season. The Gators travel to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to play the Tigers in a Fox Valley bout on Wednesday, January 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Crystal Lake Central won 65-41 in their recent league bout against McHenry (McHenry, IL)
Next up, the Chargers play the Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) in a Fox Valley bout, on Saturday, January 22. Dundee-Crown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 47-39 league loss to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL).
