Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA) and the visiting Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA), saw Mt. Zion's basketball squad wallop Gordon Lee by a tally of 53-21.
With the victory, Mt. Zion improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Trion (Trion, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a A Public Region 6 challenge on Monday, January 24. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Trion lost 49-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Darlington (Rome, GA)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA) in a A Public Region 6 challenge, on Saturday, January 22. Gordon Lee will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Pumas come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 47-9 non-league loss to Adairsville (Adairsville, GA).
