The Vestavia Hills Rebels basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Hewitt-Trussville Huskies to 38 in the Rebels league victory on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 23-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gadsden City for a 7A Area 6 contest on Tuesday, January 25. Vestavia Hills will battle a Titans team coming off a 51-33 league win over Spain Park (Hoover, AL). The Titans record now stands at 12-12.
The Huskies (19-5) will now prepare for their contest against Spain Park (Hoover, AL). The Jaguars come into the 7A Area 6 contest with a 10-17 record. In their last contest, Spain Park was defeated by Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL), 51-33, in a league contest.
