In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Middleborough Sachems basketball team scored a good 53-41 triumph over the New Bedford Whalers.
In their next game, the Sachems meet the Hull Pirates (Hull, MA) in a South Shore match, on Tuesday, January 25. Middleborough will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 61-17 non-league win over Collegiate Charter School of Lowell (Lowell, MA).
With the defeat, New Bedford moves to 2-5 on the year. The Whalers host Taunton (Taunton, MA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Sunday, January 30. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-4.
