The Rio Linda Knights basketball team (Rio Linda, CA), was overwhelmed 58-19 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA)
The Hillmen now possess a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a Foothill Valley battle on Tuesday, January 25. Placer will battle a Fighting Zebras team coming off a 69-30 league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 18-2.
The Knights (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Miners come into the Foothill Valley battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Nevada Union was overwhelmed by Lincoln (Lincoln, CA), 69-30, in a league battle.
