The Cobden Appleknockers basketball team (Cobden, IL), was nudged 54-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Agape Christian Knights (Energy, IL)

The Knights now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Century for a South Egyptian battle on Tuesday, January 24. Agape Christian will battle a Centurions team coming off a 70-46 non-league loss to Fort Campbell (Fort Campbell, KY). The Centurions record now stands at 5-16.

The Appleknockers (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL). The Rangers come into the South Egyptian battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Joppa-Maple Grove was nudged by Community Christian (Paducah, KY), 79-44, in a non-league battle.
