In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Aquinas Blugolds (La Crosse, WI), by a margin of 90-68.
The Tigers (14-0) will now prepare for their outing against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Komets go into the non-league outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Kasson-Mantorville was trounced by Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN), 66-48, in a non-league outing.
The Blugolds now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host La Crosse Central for a Mississippi Valley outing on Tuesday, January 24. Aquinas will clash with a Riverhawks squad coming off a 72-69 non-league loss to Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Riverhawks record now stands at 10-5.
