The Jefferson West Tigers (Meriden, KS) basketball nipped the visiting Atchison County Tigers (Effingham, KS), 71-66 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Atchison (Atchison, KS). The Phoenix go into the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Atchison got by Marysville (Marysville, KS), 61-52, in a non-league test.
