South Dakota High School Basketball - Chester knocked off by Beresford

The Beresford Watchdogs basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Chester Flyers to 42 in the Watchdogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Watchdogs now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Irene/Wakonda for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Beresford will battle a Eagles team coming off a 45-39 league win over Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.
The Flyers (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Canistota (Canistota, SD). The Hawks enter the B Region 3 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Canistota was defeated by Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD), 47-41, in a non-league contest.
