Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bullis Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) and the host Goretti Gael (Hagerstown, MD), saw Bullis's basketball squad hold off Goretti by a tally of 44-42.
With the victory, Bullis improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host St. Albans (Washington, DC) to confront the Bulldogs in a Interstate Athletic challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. St. Albans won 66-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Parkside (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Gael confront the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA A - Black challenge, on Monday, January 23. Goretti will attempt to improve on its 19-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 66-62 non-league win over Bella Vista College Preparatory School (Scottsdale, AZ).
