The Gordon-Rushville Mustangs topped the visiting Chadron Cardinals basketball team by a final score of 49-39 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE) in a C2 District 12 game, on Friday, January 27. Gordon-Rushville will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record.
With the defeat, Chadron moves to 6-9 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 24. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 9-5. Bridgeport lost 64-31 in their recent non-league game against St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE)
