Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) and the visiting Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM), saw Des Moines's basketball squad overcome Cimarron by a tally of 66-52.
With the victory, Des Moines improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Demons host Raton (Raton, NM) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-9.
Next up, the Rams confront the Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM) in a A District 5 challenge, on Monday, January 23. Cimarron will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 56-41 league loss to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM).
