The Eastern Greene Thunderbirds basketball team (Bloomfield, IN), was overwhelmed 66-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN)
The Spartans now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evansville Bosse for a non-league battle on Friday, January 27. South Knox will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 68-46 non-league win over Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-6.
The Thunderbirds (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN). The Miners come into the Southwestern Indiana battle with a 15-1 record. In their last battle, Linton-Stockton trounced Owen Valley (Spencer, IN), 81-48, in a non-league battle.
