Illinois High School Basketball - Northridge thwarts Elgin Academy

The Northridge Knights (Niles, IL) basketball knocked off the host Elgin Academy Hilltoppers (Elgin, IL), 74-62 in Saturday's league test.

The Knights (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Juarez (Chicago, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Juarez went down by Clemente (Chicago, IL), 71-55, in a league test.

The Hilltoppers now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they host Francis W. Parker for a Independent School test on Tuesday, January 24. Elgin Academy will encounter a Colonels squad coming off a 65-57 non-league win over Ida Crown Jewish Academy (Chicago, IL). The Colonels record now stands at 12-8.
