The Webster City Lynx (Webster City, IA) basketball nipped the visiting Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA), 65-59 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lynx (8-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA). The Gaels go into the North Central test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, St. Edmond was tipped by Humboldt (Humboldt, IA), 67-57, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Nevada for a non-league test on Monday, January 23.
