Maine High School Basketball - Thornton Academy can't hold off Gorham

The Gorham Rams basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans to 52 in the Rams league victory on Saturday.

The Rams now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bonny Eagle for a AA South contest on Tuesday, January 24. Gorham will battle a Scots team coming off a 68-32 league win over Massabesic (Waterboro, ME). The Scots record now stands at 7-5.

The Trojans (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Navigators come into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record.
