Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Wind River Cougars (Pavillion, WY) and the host Greybull Buffaloes (Greybull, WY), saw Wind River's basketball squad hold off Greybull by a tally of 40-38.

With the victory, Wind River improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Rocky Mountain (Cowley, WY) to play the Grizzlies in a 2A Northwest challenge on Friday, January 27. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Rocky Mountain won 63-37 in their recent league challenge against Shoshoni (Shoshoni, WY)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Big Horn Rams (Big Horn, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Greybull will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 65-45 league win over Sundance (Sundance, WY).
