In Saturday's non-league match, the host Praise Academy Lions basketball team scored a tight 63-60 triumph over the Haralson County Rebels.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Holy Ground Baptist Academy Stallions (Roopville, GA) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 23. Praise Academy will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record.
With the defeat, Haralson County moves to 9-11 on the year. The Rebels travel to Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA) to meet the Warriors in a AA Region 7 match on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 9-7. Gordon Central lost 66-51 in their recent league match against Murray County (Chatsworth, GA)
