In Saturday's league outing, the Ozark Hillbillies (Ozark, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR), by a count of 58-47.

The Hillbillies (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR). The Sand Lizards go into the 4A Region 4 outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Dardanelle defeated Waldron (Waldron, AR), 70-43, in a league outing.

The Bearcats now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Clarksville for a 4A Region 4 outing on Wednesday, January 25. Mena will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 53-49 non-league win over Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 3-13.
