Nazareth Kingsmen (Brooklyn, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Edmund Prep Eagles (Brooklyn, NY), 60-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Nazareth upgrades its record to 13-0 on the season. The Kingsmen travel to All Hallows (Bronx, NY) to clash with the Gaels in a Catholic A bout on Friday, January 27. The Gaels go into the bout with a record of 1-6. All Hallows lost 71-67 in their recent league bout against Xavier (New York, NY)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY) in a Catholic A bout, on Wednesday, January 25. St. Edmund Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 72-63 non-league loss to Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY).
