In Saturday's league outing, the Springdale Bulldogs (Springdale, AR) basketball squad nipped the host Northside Grizzlies (Fort Smith, AR), by a margin of 49-48.
The Bulldogs (14-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bentonville (Bentonville, AR). The Tigers go into the 6A West bout with a 12-3 record. In their last bout, Bentonville held off Northside (Fort Smith, AR), 74-61, in a league bout.
Next up, the Grizzlies play the Rogers Heritage War Eagles (Rogers, AR) in a 6A West bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The War Eagles go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 47-42 league win over Rogers (Rogers, AR).
