The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL) basketball crushed the host Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL), 60-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wooden Shoes (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Braves go into the non-league test with a 20-2 record. In their last test, Mt. Zion walloped Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL), 64-49, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 18-2 record. They play next when they travel to Monticello for a Illini Prairie test on Tuesday, January 24. Prairie Central will encounter a Sages squad coming off a 58-47 non-league win over Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Sages record now stands at 12-7.
