Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) and the host Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME), saw Woodland's basketball squad hold off Schenck by a tally of 62-58.

With the victory, Woodland improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Shead (Eastport, ME) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 23. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Shead lost 68-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME)

Next up, the Wolverines confront the Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME) in a D North challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Schenck will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record.
