The South Central Calhoun Titans basketball team (Lake City, IA), was overwhelmed 84-55 in Saturday's league battle with the host Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA)

The Rebels now possess a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alta-Aurelia for a Twin Lakes battle on Tuesday, January 24. Sioux Central will confront a Warriors team coming off a 60-47 league loss to East Sac County (Lake View, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.

The Titans (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, West Bend-Mallard was overwhelmed by Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA), 63-52, in a non-league battle.
