Nevada High School Basketball - Spring Creek thwarted by Churchill County

The Spring Creek Spartans basketball team (Spring Creek, NV), was toppled 39-20 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV)

The Greenwave now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowry for a battle on Friday, January 27. Churchill County will confront a Buckaroos team coming off a 40-35 league win over Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 2-4.

The Spartans (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Vaqueros come into the battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Fernley beat Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 70-67, in a league battle.
