California High School Basketball - River Islands overwhelmed by Manteca

The River Islands Riptide basketball team (Lathrop, CA), was overwhelmed 56-32 in Saturday's league battle with the host Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA)

The Buffaloes now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Catholic for a battle on Wednesday, January 25. Manteca will confront a Raiders team coming off a 70-37 non-league win over Central Valley (Ceres, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 8-9.

The Riptide (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against East Union (Manteca, CA). The Lancers come into the battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, East Union trounced Oakdale (Oakdale, CA), 40-38, in a league battle.
