With the win, Rio Grande upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Ravens travel to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Cibola lost 57-34 in their recent non-league bout against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Manzano will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 59-43 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
