Georgia High School Basketball - Academy of Richmond County overwhelmed by Laney

The Academy of Richmond County Musketeers basketball team (Augusta, GA), was routed 90-49 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Laney Wildcats (Augusta, GA)

The Wildcats now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenn Hills for a AA Region 4A battle on Tuesday, January 24. Laney will battle a Spartans team coming off a 57-7 league loss to Butler (Augusta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-11.

The Musketeers (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Morgan County (Madison, GA). The Bulldogs come into the AAA Region 4 battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Morgan County trounced Monroe Area (Monroe, GA), 51-41, in a non-league battle.
